Katie Holmes Banished To Scientology Camp?

Tom Cruise recently forced Katie Holmes to spend three days in seclusion at Gold Base, the remote, supersecret Scientology compound in Hemet, CA.

A "Scientology insider" revealed to Star that Katie's stay consisted of

"...various tests, confession sessions, tons of reading and physically challenging purification processes. Tom insists that auditing and purification practices are incredibly beneficial to Scientologists at all levels."

Katie has reportedly been subjected to sessions that "have lasted for 36 hours straight — with little sleep or food."

The magazine says that Katie's plans to take a Broadway role have caused Tom to step up her Scientology training recently.

Please don't get me wrong: I am ALL for people practicing religion the way they want to, but if there is even a shred of truth to these reports, this is just plain abusive. I am scared for poor little Suri!
