Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons have settled their divorce, finally - and by the looks of it, she is the clear winner in the situation. Highbrid Nation breaks down the details:
Simmons will be ordered to pay $480,000 per year (or $20,000 per kid/ month to be exact.)
Kimora will maintain sole custody of their two children, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee with Russell will be “granted” visitation every eighth week. In addition, Russell is ordered to pay $18,000/ month for maintenence of the couple’s Saddle River, New Jersey Crib which they have put on the market to sell. Kimora will be allowed to freeload at the residence untill they close on the house. If that’s not enough, Russell must provide Kimora with a new whip every two years, valued at no less than $60,000.
Um, what? Nearly half a million dollars a year in support and maintenance to a woman who makes an estimated $17M a year herself? And visitation every two MONTHS? I'm sorry, but this is the wackest divorce settlement I've ever seen. Russell needs to have a good talk with his lawyer!
And I didn't realize that she and Russell were still negotiating. It explains why Kimora was so coy when recently asked about the status of her relationship with current man Djimon Hounsou! When you're trying to score funds like that, it doesn't do to make it look like you might have other resources at your disposal, does it? If I'm Djimon, I'm locking my wallet up and hiding my credit cards about now.

They must have had a prenup before, because she really didn't get that much. He didn't have to pay her alimony and she didn't get a lump sum. Michael Jordan payed his wife 150 million in their divorce. Russel is worth 340 million so 1/2million a year is what he calls pocket change. A new car every two years for 60 000? I'm sure he spends 30 000 a year on yoga lessons.lol.
