Singer Jewel (Kilcher) and her partner of 10 years, Ty Murray, were married Thursday in the Bahamas.
Ty is a retired rodeo champion who appeared in the CMT series Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, proving that they will make a reality show about anything. Jewel is, of course, a pop/folk-ish singer best known for her song You Were Meant For Me. She released her first country album this summer.
The bride said about her wedding:
"I dreamt about this day since I was a little girl on a ranch in Alaska," Jewel said. "It was relaxed and romantic. I wore a traditional wedding gown and diamonds, and he wore jeans and a button-down shirt. Ty's definitely my perfect prince."
She must love him, because a guy who dresses in jeans to marry his traditionally-dressed bride is no perfect prince in my mind. Congratulations to them nonetheless!
