Singer Jewel and her longtime boyfriend Ty Murray married just about a month ago, but she's already speaking her mind about the state of holy matrimony.
“In Hollywood, it’s almost like a wedding ring is an accessory they want for awhile and then they get tired of it and they just take it off,” she says.
“Me and Ty always feel like marriage is the most serious thing a person can do. Granted, we move slower than most people, but we’ve really taken a long time to get to know each other and make sure we can stay in love year after year. Marriage can be heaven or hell and it’s up to you which one it is.”
