KT Tunstall's Married - And Ready To Travel The World
Singer KT Tunstall, who said two months ago that she wanted to punch someone over planning her wedding, was married on Saturday. The singer wed her drummer, Luke Bullen, on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. KT
reportedly wore a fitted silk strapless gown covered in crystals and simple jewelery for the ceremony, attended by about 150 guests.
Newlyweds and guests all enjoyed a traditional "wedding breakfast" of local beef and seafood before the couple was toasted with vintage champagne.
No reports of bridal violence were made. :-)
The couple's honeymoon will be a backpacking trip through South America, India and New Zealand.
But after the fun, the do-gooding starts. KT and Luke are scheduled to attend a star-studded trip to the Arctic Circle with environmental group Cape Farewell. They will
board the research vessel Grigory Mikheev on Sept. 25 in Greenland [for] a two-week expedition to Disko Bay, on Greenland's west coast... A highlight of the trip is expected to be a transit across the front of the massive Jakobshavn Glacier, which is estimated by Cape Farewell to be losing 20 million tons of ice every day.
Not exactly what I'll be doing a couple of weeks after my wedding, but I'm impressed with their commitment. Congratulations and keep up the good works!
