Kirsten Dunst Out Of Rehab, Wino Not Going After All

Photobucket

So it turns out that the rumors that Amy Winehouse is going back to rehab were just lies and speculation.

"Amy's doing well. She is not going back to rehab at this time," the Grammy-winner's rep tells Usmagazine.com.

She doesn't look like she's doing that well, but if you say so.

However, in happier celebrity addict news, Kirsten Dunst was spotted out and about in New York yesterday.  She's been at Cirque Lodge since early February, following her very odd behavior at the Sundance Film Festival.

She's looking pretty tired in this picture, but wouldn't you be tired too if you'd been locked up in rehab for nearly two months?  I'm glad she had the sense to check herself in, I'm happy she's out, and I hope it means she's doing better.  I love Kiki.  She's the best actress they could have cast for Mary Jane Watson.  She's adorable!  And maybe now people will stop calling her Kirsten Drunkst.  Meanies.

Rehab Round Two For Amy Winehouse?

Photobucket

Everybody's favorite crackhead has reportedly come to the stunning revelation that two weeks in rehab is not enough.    A source said:

"Amy has admitted she needs to check into rehab again.  There are too many temptations for her in the UK — people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time."

Well, that makes sense.  Who could stay sober hanging out with Pete Doherty?

You'd think that if she needs to get out of the UK that she might consider Cirque Lodge - you know, the place to be if you're a celebrity addict - but folks close to her want her more isolated than that.

"Her management had considered flying her to a clinic in Israel but are now looking further afield. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa."

I say it doesn't matter if you have to send her to rehab on the moon - she just needs to go before she dies from her addictions.  And THEN what would jailbird hubby Blake Fielder-Civil do?  Who would deliver HIS drugs to him in prison?

No, seriously,  I shouldn't even joke about that.  Substance abuse is a horrible, life-wrecking thing - and crack is one of the worst of them all.  Unfortunately I know from personal experience, having had way too many people close to me who were addicts.  I hope Amy makes the right choice and gets some help soon.
