They can stop pretending now! Beyonce and Jay-Z's hush-hush wedding earlier this month was for real!
Us Magazine reports that the couple have officially filed their signed marriage license.
Scarsdale (NY) Town Clerk Donna Conkling says that the license was received in her office by mail last Friday.
Official congratulations to them! Now can we pleeeeezzzeeee have some pictures of the dress?

The New York Daily News says that Beyonce's cousin Angelica told them (wait... are we in junior high here??) that Beyonce is retiring after she completes her next album.
Beyonce will "spend her days scouting talent for new hubby Jay-Z's upcoming label, The Carter Music Group."
Mmmmhmmmm. How long did Jay's "retirement" last? Three years? I always thought that was one big publicity stunt anyway. Even if she does quote unquote retire, it won't last long. Perhaps long enough to raise some little ones up for a few years. I predict Beyonce will be out there shakin' it until she's in her 60s like Tina Turner!

Media Take Out has obtained new information on Beyonce and Jay-Z's wedding this past Friday night! Among the juicy details:
- Security guards frisked nearly all entrants for cell phones, cameras and weapons. They found three guns, but it's not clear whose they were.
- Guests were served a seven course meal - which included caviar, shrimp scampi, and Popeye's Fried Chicken (NICE!)
- Their first dance was to "Crazy In Love" - awwwwww!
The whole affair reportedly set them back $700,000, and no wonder, what with 50,000 (some reports say as many as 100,000) orchids specially flown in from Thailand.
Reportedly the couple left their guests at 1:00 am so they could go upstairs and consummate their marriage. Some say their eagerness was due to the no sex rule Beyonce imposed three weeks prior to the wedding. However, given that Jay turned right around and flew to North Carolina for a show, they were probably just trying to squeeze in whatever little time together they could.
You gotta love a couple who serve Popeye's at their wedding. More congrats to them!

While there has been no official confirmation from their reps, it's pretty clear Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot last night in New York!
OK! claims they heard from a source who was inside the party, "they definitely got married." Preparations were underway all day Friday around their TriBeCa apartment building, including flower deliveries and tents being set up.
Reuters quotes a close friend of the couple: "Jay wanted it to be a really private affair -- close friends and family." And that's exactly what it was. The small guest list (only 30-40 people) included family members Tina and Matthew Knowles, Solange Knowles, and Jay's mother Gloria, who were among the first to arrive. Beyonce's colleagues from Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were seen leaving at 2:15 am this morning. E! Online says that the party was still raging at 4:00 am.
Rumor has it that they chose to marry on 4/4 because 4 is their lucky number (they were each born on the 4th).

Is this an April Fool?
People reported this afternoon that Bootylicious Beyonce and longtime boyfriend Jay-Z have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, NY. They've been together for six years now, so it's about damn time!
You might recall back in December that they were rumored to have tied the knot in Paris, supposedly marking the occasion with matching ring finger tattoos... and that was just the latest of the false wedding rumors.
While Jay's rep could not be reached, Beyonce's said "No comment." Which we all know is Rep Speak for "yes," right? Either way, we'll know something soon, because they've only got 60 days to use that license.

So I guess this ad for House of Dereon is supposed to remind us of the posters for Fight Club, or at least that's what I'm told, anyway.
But why did they have to make Beyonce look so vicious? Has she been taking lessons in fierce from Tyra? Or is she mad because they made her lips look like she just got collagen injections? Or maybe because the tiara they gave her doesn't fit, and what good is a tiara that doesn't fit?
Dereon has some cute stuff in their collection right now, though. What I like about this line is that it's actually decently affordable. I could actually buy some of their items without having to sell my kids to science!
