Pink Is Still Talking About Carey Hart

Singer Pink spills to Seventeen's February issue, but what she's spilling about is no surprise:  her ex Carey Hart, of course. 

"It's up and down," she says. "You have strong moments and you have weak moments. But it's not just been devastating – it's been freedom, too."

She even says she offered to give Carey away at his wedding when he marries again. 

It's been nearly a year since they divorced, and they're both still talking about how much they love and miss each other, and how close they are, blah blah blah.  Does anyone know why they divorced in the first place?  They honestly sound like they regret it.

Jennifer Love Hewitt & Ross McCall: Fini!

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall have split up, ending their two-year engagement.  OK! Magazine reports:

"They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement," says a source close to the couple. "They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them."

Awww... remember how happy she was when they got engaged?  Let's join that "source" in wishing the best for Jennifer and Ross as they go their separate ways.

Katy Perry & Travis McCoy: Fini!

Singer Katy Perry and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy have broken up, according to People.

Katy is reported to be "regrouping" since the split, and was "in a great mood" as she performed a New Year's Eve show.  McCoy, however, shared his less-than-positive feelings on his blog the same day:

...he posted lyrics to hip-hop group Main Source's breakup song "Looking at the Front Door."

The song includes the lines: "We fight every night, now that's not kosher/I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer/And wake up to be greeted by an argument again/You act like you're ten."

He followed the lyrical post with another loaded message, declaring his devotion to his laptop: "My Laptop is my new b–. LOYAL. LISTENS. and NEVER LET'S ME DOWN."

OK, for one thing, if he ever referred to Katy as his "bitch," she had reason enough to break up with him.  For another... damn!  Then again, maybe he got tired of her kissing girls?

New Book Blames Break Up With Johnny Depp For Kate Moss' Drug Problems

Kate Moss' so-called friends have spilled about her life in a new book, Kate Moss by Laura Collins, reports The Daily Mail.  They blame Kate's 1997 breakup with Johnny Depp (who supposedly introduced her to authors such as "F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jack Kerouac, Truman Capote and Hunter S. Thompson") for her turning to hard partying and "hedonism" in order to forget the pain. 

When their three-year relationship ended

Kate's reaction was to begin living at an unsustainable pace, physically, spiritually and emotionally, and abandon herself to partying.  She demonstrated an iron constitution and a capacity for alcohol that earned her the nickname 'The Tank'. She would later admit she had been 'bang into drugs'.

The following year, when she learned that Vanessa Paradis was pregnant with Johnny's child, "Any hopes [Kate] harboured of a reconciliation with Depp ended."    It was then that she supposedly realized that she "needed help" and checked into rehab for the first time.

She would go on to continue trying to heal the pain of that breakup by dating nasty Pete Doherty, with whom she did even more drugs. 

Oh no!  Look what you did, Johnny Depp!  And not to belittle Kate's addictions, but I am sure that I'd be thoroughly devastated if I broke up with Johnny, too.   I mean, JOHNNY DEPP!  *swoons*

Calum Best Takes Credit For LiLo's Lesbian Leanings

Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend Calum Best needs to work on his self-confidence.  He's convinced that he's the reason Lilo is now dating women.

“I think I turned her,” he said.  But it's all good, he tells the Mirror. 

“I think good on her. I think she’s really cool, I got nothing bad to say about her and hope for the best for her...So, if she likes girls, she likes girls. I’m happy for her.”

He then goes on to accuse her of occasionally asking for all the media attention she garners, but isn't that exactly what he's doing by claiming he turned her gay?  My goodness, it's not exactly something to brag about! Then again, maybe he's trolling for a thank-you gift from Samantha Ronson?

Salma Hayek & Francois Pinault: Back On?

Salma Hayek and her ex-fiance Francois Pinault have been getting pretty cozy in Paris.  The two were spotted at the Balenciaga fashion show.  Makes sense for him to be there; he owns Balenciaga after all.  But it looks like they were definitely together.

"[They were] very friendly together, looking happy," said one attendee. "They weren't holding hands but were definitely side by side."

Their apparent reunion has been going on for days.  On Thursday, gossip hounds caught them having tea at the Plaza-Athénée Hotel. 

"They seemed very comfortable," said an onlooker, "with Valentina playing on the couch between them."

 

Ah, of course - Valentina.  They wouldn't be the first couple to try to make it work for the sake of their child.   Whatever choice they make, I hope it's for the best for all of them.

Natalie Portman & Devendra Banhart: Fini!

Natalie Portman and her boyfriend, folk-rocker Devendra Banhart, have split up, according to People.

The two got together when Natalie starred in Devendra's crazy fun Bollywood-themed video Carmensita. 

A fan of Banhart's music, Portman had asked him to donate a track to the charity compilation she curated on iTunes, Big Change: Songs for FINCA. She returned the favor by forgoing her usual fee to appear in the video.

That was very sweet of her, but evidently not sweet enough!  I'm not too surprised by this breakup though - I always thought he was a bit too crunchy granola for Natalie anyway.

A-Rod Settles His Divorce

Well, that was fast.  According to People, Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez have settled their acrimonious divorce.    Their attorneys issued this joint statement:

"Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings...They deliberately engaged in a private negotiation. During the negotiations and resolution all decisions were made with the best interests of their children as the paramount concern."

A-Rod had maintained that the terms of their  pre-nup should govern their divorce, while Cynthia asked for a cut of his earnings during their divorce as well as one of their properties valued at $12M.  The final terms of their settlement were not revealed. 

Which tells me that he probably gave her whatever she wanted.  Hope you're happy, Cynthia!

Sarah Silverman Says Jimmy Kimmel "Broke Her Heart"

Sarah Silverman has collected two Creative Arts Emmy awards for her now-infamous video "I'm F***ing Matt Damon."  In her acceptance speech for the awards for Best Original Music and Lyrics and Best Editing, Silverman thanked her ex, Jimmy Kimmel, with bittersweet words:

"Thanks to the person for whom this whole video was made: Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart – who'll always have a place in my heart."

I still want to know what the hell happened with them!  He must have cheated on her, what else could it have been??

Sarah McLachlan & Ashwin Sood: Fini!

Sarah McLachlan has announced that she and Ashwin Sood, her husband of 11 years, are divorcing.  Calling the break up "pretty gross," she commented:

"I haven't said anything about it because I've been terrified," she said. "But I figure ... there's no good time to say it, so I just said it."

Sood is the drummer in her band.     They have two daughters, India Ann Sushil (6) and Taja Summer (1).

I wonder if they will continue working together now, or if she's kicking him out of the band?
