Jamie Lynn Spears Wedding Plans Announced

OK! Magazine must be treating Jamie Lynn Spears pretty well, because they keep getting exclusive scoops on her business.  Now they reveal her plans to wed fiance-slash-baby daddy Casey Aldridge by the end of the year, probably this fall.

The probable venue?  Her very own home on three acres in Liberty, Mississippi. 

"She loves everything about the area where she lives. She's not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills," a friend of the bride-to-be tells OK!. "Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn's style."

Of course, big sis Britney Spears will be her Jamie Lynn's maid of honor, and Casey's sister Ashlee will be one of her bridesmaids. And tiny toddler Maddie will be an integral part of the wedding — possibly in a basket decorated with flowers and carried into the ceremony by the bride and groom's mothers.

Of course, Maddie, born just last month, unless found to be superhuman between now and then, will hardly be a "toddler" by the time of the wedding, since that word generally implies the ability to walk.   

Anyway, I think Jamie Lynn and Casey are doing the right thing by at least trying.  I'm sure that OK! will bring us "exclusive" pictures just as soon as they say "I do."

Busted! Jay-Z Snapped Wearing A Wedding Band!

Jay-Z was photographed sporting a little extra bling on a particularly significant finger this weekend....  Check out the photos here.  Wedding ring, right?

Kate Middleton Is Practically A Royal Now

Prince William's longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, has attended her second royal wedding of the year, and at least one British paper is saying that this "confirms her position in royal circles."

Lady Rose Windsor - a cousin of Queen Elizabeth, great-granddaughter of George V and 23rd in line to the throne - married George Gilman in London.   She is the youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. 

The Prince did not attend, as he is currently serving in the Navy in the Caribbean.

These minor royal weddings are nice and all, but when are we going to have a BIG one??  William is back from this tour in August, so maybe he'll finally propose?  I wonder what's taking him so long?  Kate is obviously already viewed as part of the family.

Justin Timberlake's Grandma Is Planning His Wedding

It's not clear whether Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel plan to get married or not, but when they do, his grandmother, Sadie Bomar, has the whole thing planned out for them.  She's already chosen the venue:  his mom Lynn's backyard. 

Granny Sadie revealed: “I just want them to be happy. Justin should get married in Lynn’s back yard in Tennessee.  “She has a big yard with beautiful flowers.  I think it would be perfect.  Jessica’s really sweet. She’s his age and isn’t possessive. I think their personalities are a lot alike.”

"She's his age"??  Is that a catty reference to JT's ex Cameron Diaz?  You know how grandmothers can be....

Black Eyed Peas Taboo Ties The Knot

Black Eyed Peas rapper Taboo married in Pasadena, CA  this weekend.

Taboo - who's real name is Jaime Gomez - wed Jaymie Dizon at St. Andrews Catholic Church.  All of his bandmates attended the celebration.  will.i.am and apl.de.ap were groomsmen.  Singer Fergie and her fiance Josh Duhamel were also present.

People reports that Taboo's best man "was his childhood friend and manager Polo Molina."

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher Wedding Postponed

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are proud parents to little baby Olive, but they've postponed their planned summer wedding.

Apparently they've decided to delay marriage until Isla has converted to Judaism.   A source says:

"It's very much frustrated her future in-laws, especially Sacha's parents, who were really hoping for a wedding this summer," adding that "Right now there's no wedding date set because Isla hasn't fully converted yet, and even though she's working at it part-time, she's far from being close to complete with her studies."

Apparently Isla is having trouble getting along with her future in-laws, especially

Cohen's mother who wants her "to spend more time with the baby and their family in England instead of being hasty and returning to work so quickly."

(Isla went back to work filming her movie Confessions of a Shopaholic pretty quickly after Olive was born.)

She must be one remarkable person to tolerate being married to Borat!  When they do get married I'm sure they'll be great.   I also think she's freakin' gorgeous, but that's not exactly germane to this post.

Ethan Hawke Marries His Nanny

Ethan Hawke and pregnant girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes were married three weeks ago, probably in New York.   

The pair first met when she was hired by Hawke's ex Uma Thurman as the nanny to their two children.   Although this would look like a classic tale of the dad banging the babysitter, they say that's not true.  Supposedly they did not hook up with each other until the couple were divorced.  If they say so.

The source who leaked this news to People also claimed that Shawhughes is expecting a baby girl.   

I've got to admit, I'm a lot happier for Uma and Arki than I am for these two.   But, as always, I hope for the best for them - for the sake of their baby.

Andrew Firestone & Ivana Bozilovic: Wed!

Bachelor Andrew Firestone married his girlfriend of two years Ivana Bozilovic on Saturday in Los Olivos, CA. 

Last month he told Us Magazine, "She makes me a better person...Never before have I been so gushy."  He continued to gush, though, following the wedding:

“Standing at the front of the church and watching Ivana walk down the aisle, I just kept thinking I must be the luckiest man alive to spend the rest of my life with this woman."

Awwww! 

Firestone manages the Firestone Family Estates and co-owns Curtis Winery.  Bozilovic is a model.  Congratulations to them!

I think I'm tired of writing about these two at this point, but we couldn't leave you hanging! 

Ruben Studdard and Surata McCants were in fact married on Saturday in Birmingham, AL.   This photo of them is so curious.  She looks dopey happy, he looks pissed!  What's going on here?
