George Clooney Is Still Single

Good news for any ladies out there who think they can catch Dr. Doug's eye:  George Clooney has not started dating again since his breakup with model Sarah Larson.  E! Online reports:

"He is not dating anyone at all," says a source. "Anyone who says he is already dating doesn't know what they are talking about."

Does anyone else get the impression that he was just keeping Sarah around until he got tired of her?  I hate to think of George Clooney as a cad, but it's pretty hard to see this situation any other way.  At any rate, he's unattached, girls, so go get 'em if you think you got 'em!

George Clooney Was Hit On By Roseanne Barr

Back in the dark ages, before the mere whisper of George Clooney's name made women weak in the knees, he did some TV work with Roseanne Barr.  And if Roseanne had had her way, they would have done a lot more than work together.  George says:

"I worked on her first series, and when I met her she said, 'You're really good looking, why don't you take me out behind the stage and make me stink.' She was unbelievably kind to me at a time when no one was."

Geez, Clooney - if that's what you call "unbelievably kind" then I'd hate to see what "repulsive" looks like to you!

George Clooney as The Godfather

Popcrunch reports that Nicole Kidman has asked George Clooney to be her baby's godfather - and he's agreed!

George has already offered his congratulations, saying “[She’ll be] a perfect mother.”

Nicole and George have been buds since they starred together in The Peacemaker in 1997.  You may recall that George was rumored to be the cause of Nicole's breakup with Tom Cruise.   

Nicole split with Scientology when she split with Tom, and has since become a devout Catholic.  She and husband Keith Urban plan to have their child baptized as a Catholic. 

Is George Clooney Catholic?  Does it matter if he is, if he's going to be made godfather to a Catholic baby?  Inquiring minds want to know!
