Plastic British Model Shows Off Larger Women to Make Herself Feel Better

So Katie Price, aka "Jordan," has just released a new line of lingerie featuring normal and plus-size models she hand picked from her fan club.  Sounds great.  It's nice to some real women showing off real underwear.  Let's face it, it doesn't happen all that often outside of a Lane Bryant's catalog.  On the outside, this looks like a great media opportunity and positive campaign for a few real women who aren't used to strolling the catwalk for a living.  Sadly, if you look a little closer, the entire shoot looks more like another ego trip for a spoiled fading celebrity struggling to stay in the public eye.

If "Jordan" really wanted the focus to be on "real" women she would have excused herself from the shoot, or at the very least, not made herself the center piece while placing progressively larger women to either side.  With all due respect to the models, she makes herself look like the svelte quarterback protected by her bikini clad offensive linemen.  Some of the photos released don't even show most of the other models. 

As she constantly attempts to reinvent herself through multiple breast enhancements and has been caught complaining about her lack of celebrity relevance she seems more like the media whore we love to gossip about than some sort of beneficent trend setter.  So here's to you, "Jordan," we're happy to give you a little play in exchange for good material.  And to the models who posed with her, congratulations.  Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame.  As it is, your benefactor will probably take 10 of it from you anyway.
