The details of Heath Ledger's will have been made public.
According to E! Online the will, written in 2003, left everything he owned to his parents and sisters. The will predated his relationship with Michelle Williams and the birth of his daughter Matilda Rose in 2005.
Although he didn't leave anything to them, Heath's father made it clear that they will be taken care of.
"Matilda is our absolute priority and Michelle is an integral part of our family," Kim Ledger said in a statement released to People. "They will be taken care of and that's how Heath would want it to be."
Heath's rep suggested that rumors that they wouldn't receive anything from the estate were "out of context" and that "nothing could be farther from the truth."
Michelle looked so close to Heath's parents during the days following his death and at the funeral in Australia. It's really hard to believe that they wouldn't make sure arrangements are made for Matilda. However, it's still surprising that Heath didn't get any legal advice about updating his will after Matilda's birth. They're lucky to have such a close relationship with his family!
